Maltacom has just introduced another new service for the benefit of its customers. This Ring Back On No Reply service extends the convenient concept of completing calls to busy telephone lines with the popular Ring Back service also to unanswered calls.

The service is available to Maltacom customers free of charge. This means that customers do not pay rental or activation charges. The only charge the person using the service is expected to pay is for the call itself – at existing local fixed telephone rates – only if and when the call is finally completed.

The service is extremely easy to use:

When one calls from and to a normal local fixed (21) telephone line and gets no answer, all one has to do is to press R 5 before putting down the handset.

After pressing R 5 a continuous tone will confirm that the service has been activated.

The system monitors the unanswered telephone number for any activity, such as other calls received or made, for the next two hours from activation. If any such activity is detected on the previously unanswered telephone line, the system calls back the person who programmed the Ring Back on No Reply service with a different ringing tone in order to notify the caller that the indicated telephone number can be attended to. As soon as the notification call is answered, the system automatically connects the person to the telephone number, which had not previously answered

With the Ring Back service you no longer have to redial telephone numbers until you get through to the person you need to speak to.
