Belair Real Estate has just returned from an overseas exhibition in Stockholm. This was the first time the company participated in a property exhibition in Scandinavia and the response was very encouraging. Over 7,000 people attended this exhibition, most of whom were looking for an alternative residence or a second residence in countries that enjoy more favourable climatic conditions.
The stand was manned by company director Ian Casolani, who was assisted by a tax expert to give the various clients information relating to possible tax advantages and residency information in Malta.
Belair’s stand offered all types of property in Malta, including all major developments together with general information on other property related services which Belair also offers to its clientele. Some clients had already visited Malta before and are considering purchasing property in Malta, however there were also many who have never visited and have now been tempted to.
There was also significant interest in clients wishing
to move to Malta to berth their boat in one of the
marinas and in this way
have the possibility to enjoy it in the Mediterranean sea. This is a selling point the company has also emphasised on, together with the comfortable lifestyle and easy social life.
The other point of interest Belair promoted, was the newly amended government policy, which now allows foreigners to rent out their property in Malta as long as it conforms with the comfort or superior licensing requirements of the Malta Tourism Authority, a development which was received with great interest.
