First Woman to attain top enterprise certification

Malta Independent Sunday, 5 March 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

With more than a decade of experience working with HP, Pranee Bergman is the first woman to survive HP's gruelling certification Boot Camp and walk away with an HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) in HP Proliant servers.

Bergman started working with HP servers in 1995 when she qualified as an ASE in HP Proliant servers with Microsoft. She is one of a small group of women within the HP Certified Professional Program. Her enthusiasm for technical design and implementation of Storage Area Network solutions combined with an excellent working relationship with HP, motivated her to progress to the highest level of HP certification.

Today, Bergman is a consultant in IT infrastructure for Atea, the Nordic countries' leading provider of advice, sales, distribution and integration services for IT products.

Currently studying for an ASE in HP StorageWorks, Bergman is a great example of how the HP Certified Professional Program, combined with HP's quality products and solutions, deliver real customer value-add. She is also a tremendous role model for all women in

technology.
