MaltaNET announced yesterday that all its business broadband customers will have their broadband internet connectivity doubled and will now enjoy download speeds of up to 4Mbps, from the existing 2Mbps. Additionally, a new service, catering for lower-usage business customers was launched, thus introducing a choice of two services to businesses.
“Over the next few days, we will double the broadband speed to our business customers to up to 4Mbps at no extra cost to customers. This is in line with our objective to make broadband available to all businesses in a cost-effective manner”, said maltaNET manager, marketing and wholesale, Jack Mizzi.
Additionally, maltaNET introduced a new service allowing business customers to benefit from the same 4Mbps speed but pay a lower rate. This product has an 8GB monthly usage allowance.
“With this new service businesses have a choice of opting for an unmetered service or else have an 8GB monthly usage allowance. We are replicating a strategy which has proved very successful with residential customers – that of offering lower priced broadband products – aimed at market segments with different usage requirements,” concluded Mr Mizzi.
Part of the Maltacom Group, maltaNET is the leading provider of broadband and IP services.
