Academic Success for APS Bank employees

Eight APS Bank employees were recently rewarded for their academic achievements during a ceremony of presentation of certificates organised by the Institute of Financial Services – Malta.

Antonella Said and Louise Spiteri were awarded B.Sc. (Hons) Financial Services (Umist) and the Associateship Diploma of the Institute. Ms Spiteri was also awarded the prize for the best performing student during the October 2005 session.

Leanne Grima, Jordy McKay and Luke Spiteri, were awarded the Certificate in Banking and Financial Services (Cert. BFS), while Claire Portelli and Clare Meilak were awarded the Certificate in Maltese Law for Financial Advisers. Mario Casha was awarded the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice.

George Vella, APS Bank Head of Corporate Strategy, congratulated the employees on their success.

He said that the Bank’s commitment to human resources development ensured that staff kept abreast of the latest trends in the industry and assured customers of best quality services.
