Visiting the local HSBC branch will be a more interesting experience for Zabbar residents over the next few weeks. The bank is hosting an exhibition highlighting environmental work carried out by HSBC Malta employees with Earthwatch around the world.
“The exhibition at the HSBC Zabbar branch has a series of photographic panels highlighting the environmental work of some of the 24 HSBC employees, carried out in countries as diverse as Trinidad, Tanzania, Iceland, Vietnam and Brazil. A further twelve HSBC Malta employees have been selected to take part in expeditions in 2006. HSBC’s “Investing in Nature” aims to help scientific research aimed at saving the world’s most fragile eco-systems. This is a very interesting exhibition and I invite the public to join us,” said HSBC southern area director, Mr Francis X Gouder.
The exhibition can be viewed at HSBC’s Zabbar branch which is open from 8.30am to 1.30pm from Monday to Thursday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday and from 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.
