Heritage Malta is organising a public lecture and demonstration on its exhibition on Characters in Beijing Opera that is currently on display at the Grand Salon of the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta. Kathy Hall and Kevin Zhang from the London Jing Kun Opera Association will be flying to Malta specifically for this demonstration which will be held on Tuesday 21 March at 6.30pm at the Medieval Hall of the National Museum of Archaeology. The two experts will be discussing and demonstrating the use of attire, make-up and oriental weapons in Chinese opera.
Admission to this demonstration is free of charge and is limited to a maximum of 70 people. Bookings are strictly on a first come first served basis.

This public demonstration is being organised in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Centre in Malta and with the assistance of the Malta Tourism Authority.
The characters in the Beijing Opera exhibition consist of 60 figures selected from 37 Beijing operas. Each character tells a different story of the dynasties that shaped the history of China through the ages. The exhibition will run until the end of March.
