The Suncrest Hotel, through its Tal-Kaptan Restaurant, will be donating 25c in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Fund, on a selection of pizza sold in a seven-month campaign to be held between April and October 2006.

The Suncrest has committed itself wholeheartedly to assisting in the fund-raising efforts towards international research into Cystic Fibrosis, a life threatening condition affecting a number of people whose life span does not usually exceed 31 years.

Mr Philippe Lonfat, the Suncrest Hotel’s new CEO, said “In donating 25c on a selection of pizza sold at Tal-Kaptan, the Suncrest is making a tangible pledge towards finding a cure and helping all those suffering from this debilitating condition, especially children like five year old Francesca Falzon, who unfortunately suffers from CF”. Mr Lonfat said that he believes that this was an unobtrusive but effective way of expressing the Suncrest’s commitment towards a better society and he was sure the public would endorse this very valid cause.

The Suncrest’s fund-raising campaign at Tal-Kaptan, Qawra, will start on 1 April and will last till the end of October.
