The Malta Union of Professional Psychologists this month hosted the meeting for secretaries general of the various psychological bodies affiliated with EFPA (European Federation of Psychology Associations).

The formal one-day meeting took place at the Jerma Palace Hotel and was coordinated by Victor Martinelli, MUPP Secretary (Malta) and Tove Beate Pedersen, general secretary (Norway). Bernard Caruana, president of the hosting organisation, the MUPP, also attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed networking between secretaries of different European Psychology Associations.

There was exchange of information about recent developments in psychology across Europe with each delegate reporting on legislation, work related issues and developments across associations, including the holding of the 10th European Congress of Psychology in 2007.

The MUPP has been a full member association of EFPA since it was founded in 1992.
