Satariano Acorn Hep20 Is Malta’s Automatic Choice for Push-Fit Plumbing

Malta Independent Tuesday, 11 April 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Acorn Hep20 is today the automatic choice for specifying consultants. Engineers and plumbers have just completed the installation of Acorn Hep20 products at the Golden Sands Resort & Spa and the Cavalieri Hotel, both being among the most prestigious and important projects on the island.

Hepworth’s clear message is that on-going investment in system enhancement has given the range a unique combination of proven service over time and sophisticated technology that reflects the changing needs of the construction industry. This is evidenced by the fact that Satariano are now supplying Hep2O flexible push-fit plumbing systems at the Tumas Group site consisting of 170 luxury apartments at Tas-Sellum, Mellieha, the Savoy Gardens Project and the Midi Tigne Development.

Hepworth effectively created the market for flexible push-fit systems some 30 years ago. Hep2O fittings use highly sophisticated technology and a technically advanced grab wedge that holds the pipe securely in place once it has been pushed home into a fitting. Significantly, the system provides the plumber with confirmation that each joint has been correctly made at the time of installation. Any error will be immediately apparent on test.

Alongside the development of jointing technology and the introduction of an ever wider range of fittings to expand the scope of Hep2O® applications, Satariano hold a vast inventory to ensure the demands of large construction projects can be met at short notice. Satariano managing director Joseph Satariano says: “We have installed more than 20 million metres of Hep2O® piping in domestic and commercial projects. Listening to the construction industry and reflecting changes in our inventory remains at the heart of our philosophy for Acorn Hep2O®.”
