Fireworks enthusiasts could be in line to win one of 27 prizes being offered by Valletta Waterfront in a slogan competition for all those who book and pay for their fireworks festival tickets by 22 April.

This year’s festival, taking place on 29 and 30 April, will, for the first time, include an international pyrotechnic competition as well as a range of shore based entertainment taking place along Valletta.

Tickets for entry will cost Lm3.00 for seating and Lm1.50 for standing and are available from Valletta Waterfront. All those who book and pay for their tickets by 22 April will enter a competition to create a slogan for Valletta Waterfront.

The best entries will win prizes including trial flights with the European Pilot Academy, weekend breaks at the Grand Hotel Mercure San Antonio and the Barcelo Riviera Resort & Spa, tickets to the Sting and Amadeo Minghi concerts and tickets to the Valletta Summer Festival.

Throughout the festival, the Valletta Waterfront will also be setting up a special viewing area which will not only offer visitors an unparalleled view of the pyrotechnic displays but also a wide selection of food and drink stalls accompanied by local entertainment to create a festa atmosphere.
