HSBC has installed a new ATM at The Strand in Sliema, bringing the total number of machines in this busy locality to five and its total across the country to 65. Other automated teller machines (ATMs) in Sliema are located at HSBC's branches in High Street, where two machines are located, and in Manuel Dimech Street as well as at the Plaza Shopping Centre.

"We are currently in the process of introducing new machines in those areas where our research shows these are most needed. ATM banking exists, in fact, to give customers convenient and quick access to HSBC every minute of every day. Sliema Strand is a particularly busy area and locals and tourists have asked us to increase our service to them – hence this new ATM," said HSBC's Head of Branch Banking, Ray Briffa.
