A woman was conditionally discharged for a year after she was found guilty of defrauding the Housing Authority when she used false names and false documents.
Giovanna Cassar, 55, from Santa Venera, was found guilty of defrauding the authority in July 2004 and the preceding months.
The woman was guilty of falsifying rent receipts in order to benefit of funds to which she was not entitled and guilty of making false declarations.
Police inspector Kevin Borg prosecuted.
