BOV has announced that all BOV MasterCard holders are being given the possibility of participating in a fantastic new lottery that will give them a chance to attend the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, courtesy of MasterCard – an official sponsor of the games.

The main lottery prizes will be drawn on 20 June whereby two BOV MasterCard card holders will win a ticket for the semi-final match in Dortmund on 4 July, inclusive of flights and an accommodation package.

For the duration of the BOV MasterCard 2006 FIFA World Cup campaign, there will also be a monthly draw featuring other prizes from 26 March to 15 June. These include 2006 FIFA World Cup MasterCard Backpacks, Adidas Soccer Balls and Caps as well as Melita Cable 1-month sports channel packages.

Participation in this new lottery is automatic and linked to BOV MasterCard usage. In fact, all BOV MasterCard credit card holders will automatically be given a stake in the lottery for every Lm50 worth of purchase transactions effected between 26 March and 15 June.
