The website www.artbeatmalta.com was created with the aim to promote art and artists no matter their fame or their type of art. At Artbeat Malta, the objective is to support up and coming artists by promoting them and their work.

It also intends to involve the general public, art lovers and the artists themselves in contributing towards the initiative. Apart from the website, a guest book, a Yahoo Group and a Forum were also introduced with the aim of gathering all art lovers to share their views and express their feelings. These features can also be used to promote forthcoming artistic events.

In its first week, the Artbeat Malta team has already concluded various collaborations with local artists and reviewers to contribute to the site.

Besides this, Artbeat Malta is also featuring the biography of Australian artist Hazel Dooney who has given an exclusive interview.
