The Ramblers’ Association of Malta is against the proposed new boundaries of development zones and the criteria which, according to the Minister of Environment and Rural Affairs, motivated the exercise.

They were against the proposed extensions not only on account of their considerable proportion but especially on account of the criteria which lack transparency, justice and rationale, the association said.

The association called on the government to abandon its proposal in preference for a conscientious agreement involving both sides of the House.
