Air Malta have again this year issued subsidised tickets to students from the Institute of Tourism Studies who are due to leave Malta to undertake their international internship in the coming weeks. So far 94 students have received their subsidised air ticket to various destinations including England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain and Holland.
ITS students who successfully complete their certificate level studies in any programme of studies at ITS have to undertake a compulsory 12-month international internship in order to become eligible for entry into the diploma/higher diploma programmes of study.
The Institute of Tourism Studies is currently offering courses leading to a higher diploma in hospitality and tourism management, diploma in hotel operations, accommodation operations, travel agency operations, tour guiding, food and beverage service and culinary arts.
