No one was injured when a fire broke out in a house in Zebbug yesterday morning.
The police said the fire broke out at around 10am, probably a result of a short in one of the washing machines in the washroom of a house in Filippo Calleja Street in Zebbug.
Members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site to control the fire.
No one was injured but neighbours were evacuated from their houses as a precautionary measure.
The police are investigating.
