The police on Monday said they had solved a number of cases related to drug trafficking, fraud and robbery.

A number of people have been arraigned in court or are expected to be charged with stealing, heroine and cannabis possession, fraud, tax evasion, misappropriation and breach of copyright laws and falsification. The police also solved other cases including the theft of a vehicle in Hamrun, an attempt to steal from a bank in Fgura, attempted bodily harm, assault against the police in Valletta and a man in Mosta who pretended to be a police officer.
