As from September the process to transform state schools into colleges will begin, Education, Youth and Employment Minister Louis Galea said.

Speaking during a visit to Skola Sajf in Sannat, Gozo, Minister Galea said that applications for the choice of an Administrator and Precincts Officer for each college will be issued shortly.

Gozo College Coordinator Frank Gatt said that the first year of this experience was extremely positive with many new developments in particular new courses such as English through drama, Hands-on Science sessions, Literacy fora and Phonic and Abacus sessions.
