The first of a series of meetings for the public held by Family and Social Solidarity Minister Dolores Cristina took place yesterday at the Access Centre in Cottonera.

During the meeting, called ‘The minister in your midst’, Minister Cristina said that her ministry is close to the public and this is an opportunity to learn more about the various services offered by the Customer Care Section within the said ministry.

Minister Cristina met with around 20 people from the Cottonera area and the event was deemed to be a great success, judging by the large number of telephone calls received.

The next meeting will take place in September in Birkirkara. The time and venue will be announced later.
