Ten youths were found in possession of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy by members of the Armed Forces’ C (Special Duties) Company, who were carrying out vehicle check points in the central and southern parts of Malta on Monday night.

Five other youths were apprehended by members of the same company when they were found to be driving without the required licence and without valid insurance cover.

All suspects and confiscated items were handed over to the police for further investigation, the AFM said in a statement.
