The Victoria Hotel has added a new and important member to its senior management team, Clive Cordina, in the post of director of sales and marketing.

Mr Cordina will be heading the business development department for the Victoria Hotel and Palazzo Capua, including the new, extended luxurious annexe.

Clive Cordina comes to the Victoria Hotel with the hands-on knowledge of 17 years of experience in the hotel industry. Mr Cordina worked his way up the managerial ladder in leading four and five-star hotels on the island.

Commenting about this new appointment, general manager, Claire Xuereb, said that this addition was aimed at functionality and better practice in the existing system. She said: ”We have long planned the regulation of this important department. To better meet the exigencies of our on-going expansion, we believe we need to dedicate more energy to strategic points of administration. Mr Cordina is a highly motivated person, and thus, I am confident he is the ideal man for this job.”
