The Department of Public Registry will adopt a new schedule of opening hours to the public based on a six-day week as from Monday.
The Civil Status Section, Marriage Registry and Birth /Death Notification Section will open as follows:
Mondays to Fridays, from 7.30am to 2pm.
On Wednesdays, the offices will also open in the afternoon, from 3pm to 6pm.
On Saturdays, the offices will be open from 7.30am to 11am.

The general public is urged to use these extended office hours in order to avoid queues, save time and help the section give a better service.

gov.mt from the comfort of one’s home.
Entrance to these offices is from No. 26, Treasury Street, corner with Santa Lucia Street, Valletta.
