Cheaper e-mails at your fingertips is what go mobile is offering through its latest service – mobile e-mail.
Contract customers can now access e-mail from their mobile phone if they subscribe to this service. For Lm10 a month, one can send and receive emails and attachments (up to 100MB) and 500 free SMS notifications per month.
Those who subscribe to the mobile email service before 31 December, are entitled to a free month’s mobile email access fee (resulting in a Lm10 deduction from their next bill). One can set up one’s mobile to receive and send emails without having to worry about the charges incurred to send and receive such email and any attachments over GPRS/EDGE. With the new service, one can opt to receive an SMS each time one receives an email but one can also set filters to be notified only for certain e mails received.
To subscribe to this service, one can visit any of go mobile’s Customer Contact Centres in Malta and Gozo. Customers need to take with them the name of their Internet Service Provider, their e-mail address, user name and password used to access their e-mails.
More information can also be obtained by calling 146 from any go mobile number or by visiting go mobile’s website: www.go.com.mt.
