As of tomorrow, all Vodafone prepaid customers can benefit from a local SMS rate of 1c. By subscribing to the new Vodafone Max Value Text Offer, which costs just Lm2 a month, prepaid customers can send as many text messages as they wish for the price of 1c. Additionally, calls on this offer are charged at a flat rate of 14c per minute, which is charged on a per 30 second basis (that is, 7c per 30 seconds).

Applying for this offer is very easy. Prepaid customers just need to send an SMS with the word “TEXT” to 9900.

Subscription to this offer is free of charge, and customers will be charged pro-rata for the first monthly payment depending on the date of subscription.

In the following months, Lm2 are automatically deducted every first day of the month from the customer’s pre-paid balance. This offer is valid until 31 March, 2007.
