An armed and hooded man made off with a laptop computer that was being carried by a foreigner in Alamein Street, Pembroke, on Thursday evening.

The police said that the robbery took place at about 10pm.

The foreigner was walking in the street when he was approached by the armed, hooded man, who snatched the laptop from him and ran off.

Duty Magistrate Michael Mallia appointed several experts to help him in the inquiry. The police are investigating.
