For the 17th consecutive year, the students of St Theresa Junior Lyceum collected donations for voluntary groups. The students did a lot to encourage people to donate monetary contributions towards charity in aid of Caritas (Malta), Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija (Park of Friendship) and the school benevolent fund. A handsome sum of Lm4,400 was collected, an increase of Lm900 over last year.
The theme as usual was Nigri Biex Nghin… Ghinni Habib, (I’ll run to help…Help me friend!). This campaign started well as far as four weeks ago and ended on Thursday 1 December 2005 with a symbolic fun run of 2.2km.

This fun run was also attended by the beneficiaries namely, Mgr Victor Grech for Caritas (Malta) and Gordon Pace for id-Dar tal-Providenza. Robert N. Borg, Head of St Theresa Junior Lyceum, presided over this event. There was also an art exhibition held by the students and their teachers.
The St Theresa teachers and administration together with the direction of Pembroke Athleta – Athletic club gave a well organised fun run race around the school including the entertaining activities.
