Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti was the beneficiary of a recently concluded exhibition of photographic art by Dr Joseph (Beppe) Zammit-Lucia. Entitled Not the Truth, the exhibition of four portfolios of fine art photographic prints was brought to Malta by Artissa and held at Gallery G, Lija and the Manoel Theatre.

Dr Zammit-Lucia and Artissa donated all the proceeds of sale at the exhibition to Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti and presented a cheque to chairman Maurice de Giorgio at the foundation’s offices in Valletta.

Mr de Giorgio said the foundation was delighted to have been a part of the event and said the money raised would go towards the funds needed as the Palazzo Falzon in Mdina project came to an end and they embarked on their next project.

Asked why they had chosen the foundation to benefit from the exhibition, Dr Zammit-Lucia said he had found the organisation very helpful, responsive and well-organised and had been impressed by the quality of their work.

Dr Zammit-Lucia’s photographic art focuses on heri-tage, conservation and the environment and he donates all the profits from his work to charitable organisations. Examples of his work can be seen at www.jzlimages.com
