Two men were conditionally discharged for two years after they pleaded guilty to slightly injuring a man.
Alfred Attard, 46 from Zebbug and Emmanuel Baldacchino, 26, from Qormi pleaded guilty to slightly injuring Philip Damato on 19 March 2005 at around 8.15am in Zebbug.
Handing down his judgement, magistrate Lawrence Quintano noted their criminal records and conditionally discharged them for two years.
Police inspector Jesmond J Borg prosecuted.
