The Sense Group is once again launching an electronic card (e-card) as part of its annual Christmas and New Year campaign. Every year, The Sense Group organises a campaign with the aim of encouraging adults not to drive if they are going to drink. The purpose of the e-card is to create awareness about the risks and danger of driving under the influence of alcohol, particularly during this festive season.

The e-card can be accessed by typing the following address in the e-mail window: http://www.thesensegroup.org/xmas/. The card depicts Santa Claus, who has had too much to drink, trying to land his sleigh. The user will be asked to help him by using the controls on the keyboard. If the sleigh crashes, a message will pop up by Santa Claus, who says that next time he will let Rudolph drive. On winning the game, Santa’s message will be: “You could be my next reindeer”.

“This is the third Christmas e-card issued by TSG to help raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol,” said Joe Farrugia, chief executive, TSG. “The e-card promotes TSG’s campaign to choose a designated driver who will not drink alcohol, so that he or she can drive the rest of the group safely back home.”
