Three people were yesterday charged with defiling three teenagers – two girls and a boy.

Stephen Brincat, 41, David Azzopardi, 18, and Maria Christina Ozman, 33, pleaded not guilty to defiling the three teenagers. They were each granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500. They were also ordered not to approach the alleged victims, whose names and particulars are not being published in order to protect their identity.

Police Inspector Alexander Grech prosecuted while Michael Sciriha and Christine Bellizzi appeared for the accused.
