AIESEC Partners with PricewaterhouseCoopers

Malta Independent Sunday, 24 December 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

The foundations of the local student organisation AIESEC were laid in 1969. Since then, the organisation has been providing Maltese and international students with opportunities for personal and professional growth, and for improving development and leadership skills through internships, global conferences and other events.

AIESEC specialises in talent management and development, because it gives students something that reaches beyond the realms of academic studies and knowledge.

AIESEC in Malta and PricewaterhouseCoopers have shared a close business relationship for the past 24 years and the time has now come for AIESEC to move forward into the services industry by signing partnerships with top firms in the country. On a global level, AIESEC has established partnerships with over 3,500 businesses and NGOs in the corporate as well as the non-corporate sector. The highlight of this year is the official partnership that was signed recently with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Valletta. Other high points in the year were the launching of three new local projects named Pboxes, which essentially means Projects Based on Exchange. These projects cover a number of areas such as entrepreneurism, tourism and IT.

For anyone who is interested in recruiting candidates with a background that is not merely academic but is also experienced and professional, AIESEC is the right place. The organisation’s main office is at the centre of Students’ House at the University of Malta.
