Maltapost yesterday rewarded one of its employees in recognition of energy-saving suggestions he made.

Sammy Camilleri was among various Maltapost employees who put forward several proposals to make improvements in several sectors of operation and safeguard the environment.

Maltapost chairman David Stellini gave Mr Camilleri an airline ticket to a European destination of his choice.

Maltapost is already implementing several of Mr Camilleri’s recommendations for energy saving in outlets which are undergoing refurbishment.

Maltapost CEO Joseph Gafà expressed his appreciation for the suggestions received and said that it was a clear indication that the employees had the company’s interests at heart. Mr Gafà added that this initiative will continue to be recognised and rewarded by Maltapost on a yearly basis.
