Maltese sisters and singers Natasha and Charlene have made it to the Bulgarian national final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.
According to the website www.ogaemalta.com, Natasha and Charlene also submitted entries for the Maltese national final, but did not make it to the final round.
They will compete in the Bulgarian semi-final on 3 February – coincidentally the same night as the one when the Maltese finals for Eurovision 2007 will be held.
Recently Natasha and Charlene’s Echoes of Gaia from Maltasong 2006, was selected by the United Nations for an event organised by GenevaWorld.
The same entry achieved fourth place at the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2006 and won the International Song Contest 2006.
More news about the outcome of Natasha and Charlene’s adventure in Bulgaria will be broadcast live on Sunday, 4 February during the special edition of Eurovision Fever.
