Dhalia’s exclusive property arm, Luxury Living recently participated in the International Property Fair, Living and Moving Abroad, held in Stockholm, Sweden. This year’s property fair, which was held at the Globen Annex between 20 and 21 January, attracted over 6,000 visitors.
The property fair was a huge success and attracted over 90 exhibitors from 24 countries including Abu Dhabi, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Dubai, Egypt, France, Greece, Jordan, Caribbean, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay and Florida in the USA.
During the two-day exhibition, K&I Luxury, Dhalia’s partners in Sweden hosted two seminars about the taxation incentives available to foreigners purchasing property in Malta. The seminars, which were well attended and favourably received by all the participants, helped to generate a number of enquiries.
At the Stockholm property fair, Dhalia was represented by Michael Mifsud, manager of Luxury Living. Speaking about this event, Mr Mifsud said that “the response we received from the first fair held last year at the same venue encouraged us to return and promote Maltese properties in this very interesting market. Our emphasis during this exhibition was to promote Malta first and the properties on offer thereafter.”
Mr Mifsud added that most of the visitors commented favourably about Malta because of its mild weather conditions when compared to Sweden, as well as the rich cultural heritage and excellent lifestyle.
Malta is also extremely accessible by air and a very safe country for the purchase of property both as a holiday home or for investment purposes.
