Six of the 16 songs for the Go Mobile Song for Europe 2007 were chosen by the international judges and public on Thursday night to contest the final that will be held this evening at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali.

The six songs that have made it are:

Whenever by Kevin Borg, She Gives Me Wings by Klinsmann Coleiro, As Long As You Know by Scar, Vertigo by Olivia Lewis, All About A Life by Pamela and Starlight by Trilogy.

The songs were chosen by a system introduced this year: 50 per cent of the votes came from a jury made up of foreign judges and 50 per cent came from televoting.

The public had 30 minutes to vote this year as opposed to the 10 minutes allocated last year.

During the voting period, the public was entertained by Winter Moods, followed by Yada Dancers and popular Romanian singer Mihai Traistariu who entertained the crowd with his hit single Tornero. The show was hosted by J Anvil and Stephanie Spiteri.
