Sedqa, in collaboration with NSTS and with the support of XFM, are once again organising a Teen Central Alcohol-Free Event for young people aged 13 to 16 years. The event is going to be held on Friday at Rafiki’s Café (outside the university gates) between 7.30 and 11pm.
Young people who would like more information or are interested in performing during one of these activities, such as singing or dancing, can call Primary Prevention on 2124 4226.
This series of events are held on every second Friday of the month and offers concrete opportunities for young people who would like to have fun in a clean environment.
Entrance to these events is free and includes a subscription-offer for the ISIC (International Student Identity Card), which is being sold with a 50 per cent discount (Lm1.50 only). This card entitles the holder to discounts in Malta and abroad.
Carnival fun:
Sedqa and the Dingli School Council are organising a carnival activity for young people aged between 11 and 16. Spot prizes, finger food, non-alcoholic drinks, talent shows and other entertainment are all included in this event. Entrance fee is Lm1.50 and bookings should reach the Dingli school or members of the Dingli School Council on 9949 0261 or 9985 5894 by Monday 12 February.
This fun activity is not limited only to Dingli residents and all young people are encouraged to attend. The event will take place at the Dingli primary school hall between 7.30 and 11pm.
These two events are part of the sedqa Primary Prevention programme to promote alternative leisure activities for young people.
