A St Julian’s man was yesterday charged with handling stolen property.
Winston Joseph Gera, 34, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of two stolen car stereos worth up to Lm1,000 in total on 14 February.
He was also accused of relapsing in view of previous convictions.
The court, presided over by magistrate Silvio Meli set bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500. Police inspector Daniel Zammit prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Charmaine Cherret appeared for the accused.
