Vodafone Malta has launched a new concept – The Vodafone Music Jam. In the coming months Vodafone will be supporting a series of musical events through The Vodafone Music Jam.
This was announced during a press conference held at Club 22, Portomaso Tower. The Vodafone Music Jam will start with a one off unplugged concert by Ira Losco on 17 March.
The concert which is being organised exclusively for Vodafone customers is the first in a long line-up of the Vodafone Music Jam series of events featuring the best local talent as well as international acts.
Ira Losco will be performing a live unplugged performance on Saturday 17 March in the Grand Master Suite of Malta Hilton. Doors open at 8pm. Ira Losco will be accompanied by her band, as well as guest musicians. She will be performing songs from her new album Unmasked and as well as some well known favourites that have dominated local airwaves. The night will be hosted by Claire Agius and will feature Chasing Pandora, Scar and Daniel Genius from Bitterside as supporting acts.
When asked to comment about her music Ira Losco said, “I love writing and recording music, but it can’t compare with performing my music live. Nothing compares to sharing my words and music with my audience together with my band on stage.”
Ira Losco launched her fourth album Unmasked in December, when, together with her band, she played an unplugged set to a packed audience at Axis. The album immediately reached number one in the sales charts after just one week of its release, with its first single Winter Day shooting up to number three on the local radio chart. The album has been described as “more about taking a deep look at herself, looking for her more intimate side”.
