A Hamrun man yesterday was charged with being in possession of ecstasy and cannabis with intent.
Habier Grech, 27, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of ecstasy pills and 150 grams of cannabis on Sunday and during the previous days. The drugs were found in a state that denoted they were not for his personal use.
The accused was granted bail against a deposit of Lm500 and a personal guarantee of Lm2,000.
Magistrate Audrey Demicoli presided over the court.
Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.
