The choice at the local elections to be held on 10 March should be one for all Malta Labour Party candidates because, whether in a minority or in a majority, they have always worked for the good of their locality, MLP leader Alfred Sant said.

Speaking during a public activity on Tuesday evening, where Dr Sant met residents of Siggiewi, Qormi and Luqa, the MLP leader said Labour councillors would continue to make only promises they could fulfil in the best interests of the residents.

In Siggiewi, in spite of being in a minority, Labour councillors had given their contribution to improve the lifestyle of the residents there. In Qormi, a Labour-led council had fulfilled 92 per cent of its promises while in Luqa, 88 per cent of the work promised had been carried out.
