The same question asked by Labour MP Noel Farrugia to two ministers elicited widely different answers.
Mr Farrugia asked how much did each ministry spend on dinners or hospitality during 2006.
Urban Development and Roads Minister Jesmond Mugliett replied that his ministry spent Lm3,311 and the ADT a further Lm8,092 while Tourism and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech replied his ministry spent Lm43,981 apart from what was spent by the MTA.
Foreign investment in Gozo is ‘confidential’
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said he could not provide Labour MP Anton Refalo with information regarding foreign investment in Gozo each year from 1999 to 2006 and in the first nine months of 2006 since this information is “confidential”.
