Teatru Rjal dramatic company is giving the finishing touches for its forthcoming musical concert The Best of the Beasts which is being staged at the Catholic Institute in Floriana this evening at 7pm and tomorrow at 6.30pm. Not less than 33 excerpts from four great musicals, all having a beast as the protagonist will be interpreted during the evening. There will be six songs from the Beauty and the Beast and Lion King, 10 from the Phantom of the Opera and 17 from Notre Dame De Paris. Those from the musical Notre Dame De Paris will be animated. Sophisticated lighting will add to the spectacle of dancing.

Some of the best local singers are taking part including Ludwig Galea, Lawrence Gray, Mark Tonna, Debbie Scerri, Pamela, Julie Zahra, Evan Debattista and Daniel Testa. Music will be directed by Joe Brown while the choir will be led by Abigail Brown. Choreography is by Michelle Zerafa and production by Pawlu Testa.
