Hot on the heels of other successful teleserials, comes a new Hermann Bonaci Productions called Missjoni, another drama series for which the company is renowned. Hermann Bonaci Productions has produced the largest number of local television drama series. In fact, over the last years, the company has broadcast more than 340 drama episodes in different serials.
Filming has started on this 39 episode series that has a social storyline for all the family written by John Suda. The main characters in Missjoni discover that after their earthly life, there’s another intermediate life that cannot be measured by time or space. In this new life, they become agents helping those still in their earthly life and about to end it in a negative way.
Working as an agent serves to settle serious mistakes made on earth and prepares them for eternity. Not everyone becomes an agent. There are those who are condemned right away and others who are granted eternity immediately. But the majority get the chance to atone for their mistakes.
These agents have to help people on earth with social problems and throughout the series we discover the world of drug trafficking, solitude, sickness, poverty, criminality, old age, indifference and other daily aspects of life.
In Missjoni, Hermann Bonaci Productions will be using the latest technology in special effects. Moreover, it is very different from other productions, as each episode will have a different plot, different circumstances and different characters. In fact, only four actors are present throughout the series – Olivia Ann Marmara, Hermann Bonaci, Frida Cauchi and John Suda. The rest will be all different in each episode. As a result, more than 200 actors will take part throughout the whole production. Truly innovative!
