A Birkirkara man was yesterday charged with stealing watches and money from a car in Attard.
Before Magistrate Anthony Vella, 31-year-old Stephen Zammit was charged with damaging the car, a Peugeot 206, when he allegedly committed the offence on 15 March last year.
The man was also accused of acquiring stolen objects and of relapsing.
Police Inspector Silvio Valletta prosecuted and Dr Roberto Montalto appeared for the accused.
