Another singer who did well at the San Remo Music Awards was Claudia Faniello, who won the Best Solo Artist award. She won with the song High Alert, lyrics by Godwin Sant and music by Ray Agius. This victory entitles Claudia to go on a promotional tour around the world with famous Italian singers.

During her stay in Italy, Claudia Faniello also performed on the main stage in Piazza Colombo with her song L-Imhabba Ghamja, with lyrics by Claudia herself and music by Trevor Fenech and Aldo Spiteri.

As part of a very busy schedule, she had interviews on Rai International, Sky, Video Calabria, Globe TV and TV TRSP. She was also a special guest of Massimo Proietto in Calabria Night at the Morgana Victory Bay.
