Riccardo Fogli And Matia Bazar to sing in Nadur

Riccardo Fogli and Matia Bazar are to perform for no fee at Nadur, Gozo, on the occasion of the event Flimkien – Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome during the weekend 23-25 March. The event is co-financed by the European Parliament.

There will be information stands, art and photo exhibitions, street theatre, folk music, debates on Europe, shows for children, local products market and a full entertainment programme for the Maltese and Gozitan public.

The guests from Italy will be performing on the Saturday and Sunday evenings in Nadur main square. Matia Bazar, one of the most famous of Italian bands, will be performing in Nadur as special guests on Saturday, 24 March at 10.30pm.

Riccardo Fogli, has performed in Malta before, the last time in December, and this will be his fifth appearance here. His concert will be held on Friday, 23 March at 8.30pm.

Attendance at the concerts and the other activities organised in the framework of the celebration Flimkien is free of charge.

On Friday and Saturday a shuttle bus service will be operating from Mgarr to Nadur from 5.30pm until midnight in coordination with the Gozo ferry timetable. On Sunday, this service will start at noon.
