High-performance Sprays

Malta Independent Sunday, 18 March 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Whenever burning light bulbs are immersed into water and stay on – without causing a short circuit, of course – or hair dryers submerged in water do the same, one could assume some miraculous powers are at work.

There is, however, a distinct possibility that these products were previously sprayed with a high performance spray made by WET.PROTECT, which protects electrical and electronic devices from wet or humidity-caused short circuits, power failures and corrosion.

Unlike conventional sprays WET.PROTECT does not emulsify with water, but undermines the wetness and moisture, and subsequently creates a permanent protective film. WET.PROTECT maintains conductivity and also increases the life cycle of the treated components. It can be used as a preventive measure or to perform repairs directly after moisture has impacted on devices or equipment.

The high performance spray is sprayed directly on the affected materials and penetrates even the most miniscule hollow areas thanks to its excellent creep strength. It leaves behind a 2-3 mm thick film, which is extremely water resistant.

Wet-Protect-gmbh was established in 2004. The company’s own laboratory, its research and development department, as well as its production facilities and headquarters are all located in Bavaria. Additional investors joined the company in

2006.
