An Italian man who pleaded guilty to stealing his girlfriend’s mobile phone and jewellery was yesterday jailed for two years suspended for four.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke handed down the suspended jail term to Carmelo Innorcia, 34, who lives in Kalkara.
Police Inspector Michael Mallia prosecuted while Dr Jose Herrera and Dr Charmaine Cherrett appeared for the accused.
